For denture wearers, implants can be placed to significantly improve the denture's retention, support and stability. Attachments or "snaps" can be inserted into the denture to allow secure fixation to the implants. This benefit allows the amount of plastic of the denture to be reduced, eliminating the need for sticky adhesives, and improving speech, taste, and comfort. The first image displays the implant abutments which will help support the denture. The second image demonstrates the inside of an upper denture with less plastic, and inserted attachments to help with retention and stability. |
